Sometimes I just want to try out more expensive mascara because I think that they are expensive for a reason. This one is the Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes Mascara which I got for about 28 € in a set with a Lancome Eye Make-up Remover and a concealer (that is way too dark for me so I gave it to my mum):
I like Lancome mascara, I had a classic mascara once and I loved it because it wasn’t leaving any clumps on my lashes and was very natural while stil maximizing the volume and the length. This one here is a bit different though.
The brush itself is thicker on the bottom and thins out to the top, I’ve seen such a brush on some cheap p2 and catrice mascara! The design is very cute and simple, the way I like it. The brush has a little bit too much mascara on the top I think…
Let’s see the effect on me:
It does give me length but my lashes look really messy I think. I actually like a very neat and tidy look, so that they are all separated and long with volume but this mascara does the opposite. It gets worse when I start layering it…everything clumps and is kinda glued together. The plus of the mascara is that it is great for the lower lashes, mine are very difficult to do because they are very thin in comparison to the other lashes but long, this one works great with the lower lashes. Still I am not satisfied but I will use it for the lower lashes.

ich finde es auch zu teuer vor allem für den effekt der nicht so bombastisch ist :(

My sister has the same set but without the concealer! I haven't tried the mascara myself but I think bloggers and youtubers rave about it a lot. Maybe it's not really worth the hype.. Let us know if you find a good mascara which separate lashes properly. :)
