DKNY Sweet Delicious Creamy Meringue

I already posted about my limited edition DKNY Sweet Delicious Pink Macaron here, but now I finally have the Creamy Meringue, too!!
According to fragrantica it smells like custard, lime, some sweet notes and a little bitbergamot and musk! My own experience is that it really smells lemony, but not in a super fruity but more sweet way, I can smell the custard, too! Unfortunately it sits very close to my skin unless I spray it all over me, which wouldn’t be wise because I only have 50 ml! It stays on me only for about 2-3 hours, which is definitely less than the Pink Macaron (which also has a stronger sillage to me!). I still love it dearly but because I expected it to be like that…

DKNY Sweet Delicious Pink Macaron

Usually DKNY is too fruity for me, but when I heard about the limited edition from 2012 I just had to have it! DKNY Sweet Delicious Pink Macaron is just one of the 3 Sweet Delicious Fragrances, the others being Lime Tart and Meringue, which I hunted for but can’t buy because UK doesn’t ship to Germany sometimes. I bought this on ebay for 40 €, it’s 50 ml and a good price for a limited edition DKNY.
The packaging is really cute!! The scent though has not enough sillage for me, only if I spray a lot but it lasts at least 4 hours on me. The fragrance itself is again really fruity and fresh but more sweet and and mature than other DKNY that i tried (too fruity is usually too immature for me, even though I love other bubble gum-like fragrances). It’s difficult to describe, there is a very strong pomegranate note that i like and also smells like roses (which I usually don’t particularly like but here it works). It’s not my signature fragrance but it’s a nice change for me to have something this fruity! It does not smell like macarons though… (I knew that before buying)
EDIT: I got the meringue one...so happy haha

Victoria’s Secret Body Glimmer Swirl Cream - Sweet Tease

Yay another body cream/lotion/milk (I will never know the difference haha). This time I got Victoria’s Secret  Body Glimmer Swirl Cream “Sweet Tease” on ebay for roughly 15 €. Sweet Tease smells like “Vanilla Cream and Sparkling Berries”. It really does!
Unfortunately mine looks a little bit wonky, probably because someone shook it too much during transport. Doesn’t matter I can still see that it’s a swirl! The application is nice, very soft creamy and slightly glittery lotion.
You can see the glitter better in this close-up. It smells just like berries and vanilla, very sweet and creamy! BUT I don’t see any glitter on my skin AND the scent fades awayquickly (unlike my Aquolina Body Milk!). That’s a bit sad because I really like the smell of this. It’s fun but I won’t buy it again probably because it’s too expensive for a body milk that doesn’t last on me.

Aquolina Icing Sugar Body Milk

I have way too much body milk that I won’t be able to use up, but this was a must buy for me, even if with 10 € for 250 ml it’s a bit of a luxury (when it comes to body milk):Aquolina Icing Sugar Body Milk.
This body milk has one of the sweetest bestest scents ever!! It really smells like icing sugar (Puderzucker in German, I like that term better). It is very realistic and only with a hint of the typical body milk smell, but here it fits the sweet and sugary and somehow milky fragrance. It moisturizes my skin while smelling super yummy (maybe too yummy, I’m smelling my skin non stop right now…). And it stays for at least 2 hours like that on my skin, which many body milks can't keep up! I love Aquolina as a brand and will definitely buy more of their products! Next on the list is the perfum Sugar Sparks (I got a code for the value of 10 € with my last purchase ON HERE). And I “need” either shower gel or body milk that smells like Chocolate….

Perfume: Cotton Candy Girly Girl Prince Matchabelli

And again a cotton candy-like smelling perfume. This time it’s Prince Matchabelli’s Cotton Candy. It is soooo cheap, only 8 $ for 60 ml. So I didn’t expect much.
Again cute and tacky packaging, the pink feathery stuff is actually on the bottle itself. I have to say, it is an exact copy of the Body Fantasies Cotton Candy Body Spray. Only that the alcohol is more apparent when first spraying on but it fades fast into the same cotton candy- grape soda fragrance and it stays just as long. It stays a little bit too close to my skin in my opinion.
Still it’s inexpensive and fun, I don’t see a reason not to buy it. I like that this one just like the Body Spray has no bitter or musky undertones whatsoever (unlike Pink Sugar or Delicious Cotton Candy that I reviewed before). I might just buy this again, for fun and giggles.

Perfume: Gale Hayman Delicious Cotton Candy

My love for cotton candy smelling perfume never ends. I am actually pretty happy withAquolina’s Pink Sugar, though it has a strong burnt sugar scent to it so I wanted to find a lighter and sweeter fragrance. This one here is of Gale Hayman’s “Delicious” line, which also features a chocolaty fragrance that I didn’t get yet. Anyways this cost me about 30 $, a bit much but at least it’s 100 ml (don’t get me wrong I would pay 100 € for 30 ml if it was a high end perfume or something rare but this is nothing special so I am a bit greedy):
Packaging is fun, pretty with it’s pink tones but nothing extra special. The flacon is actually very very cute I think:
A jaguar on top of the flacon! Or is it a puma? Anyways I like that it’s tacky! The smell though….is almost exactly like Aquolina Pink Sugar. It’s honestly the same with the caramel and burnt sugar notes but it’s not as longlasting as Pink Sugar and there is less sweet caramel in it, at least on me. It’s not worth the money I think (especially since I had to search really hard for it on the internet).

Body Fantasies Body Sprays

I have a weak spot for body sprays and splashes, I already owned a lot but only recently did I discover the best ones. Body Fantasies makes some of the best smelling and long lasting Body Sprays I ever got! I am very happy with my buys and payed about 20 € for both. As they are about 200 ml each it is a really nice price:
The Body Fantasies Cotton Candy Body Spray smells like cotton candy at first but after setting my bf pointed out it smelled more like some kind of tasty grape soda, which I do like. I have never found a really authentic cotton candy smell anyway so I am happy with this at least. It stays with for two hours! Maybe a bit longer if I layer it with cotton candy smelling EDP.
The Sexiest Fantasies Va Va Voom! is more of a dark, heavy and musky smell. It is very strong and has the ultimate lasting power of a whole day. The scent starts of very strong at first but settles for a more sensual and sexy rum & chocolate fragrance. I like it a lot, though it is very unlike me!

Perfume Review: Pink Sugar by Aquolina and Egeo Choc by O Boticario

I have a weakness for sweet stuff, meaning sweets, cute make up AND perfume that smells sickly sweet. Most people think it’s too much to have a perfume that smells like cotton candy, but it’s exactly right for me, I’m always on the lookout for that kind of fragrances, gourmand fragrances! Since I joined the site "fragrantica . com" I discovered many perfumes that could suit my endless craving for sweet stuff, that’s how I came to buy the next two:
The Aquolina Pink Sugar Fragrance, that was 25 € total (with shipping) for 100 ml on amazon, which I find is a good price for what you get out of it. To explain the scent of Pink Sugar well, here’s a Perfume Pyramid that I took from fragrantica.com :
Top Notes
Orange Fig Leaf Raspberry Bergamot
Middle Notes
Red Berries Lily-of-the-Valley Licorice Cotton Candy
Base Notes
Musk Vanilla Caramel
The note that is most intense is the cotton candy and toffee for me. When I first sprayed this on I didn’t like it at all, it had an almost liquorice like smell to me because the musk came out to strong together with the cotton candy. But after half an hour or even less it turned into the sickly sweet yet somehow mature fragrance I hoped for! The longevity varies daily, sometimes half a day, other times only 2 hours. Still, I am very pleased with this buy. I was thinking of getting Aquolinas Chocolovers fragrance also, but it’s nowhere to be found…
Btw, the packaging is so cute and playful, it looks like something out of a Dr Seuss childrens’ book!

The second one is Egeo Choc by O Boticario, which I ordered directly from the website of O Boticario because they restocked on the limited perfume right now! How fortuitous! It was a bit more than I wished to pay, about 35 € with shipping.

Now the notes for the Egeo Choc from O Boticario are as follows:
Top Notes
Whipped cream Amalfi Lemon Peach Red Berries
Middle Notes
African Orange flower Mexican chocolate Milk
Base Notes
Musk Sandalwood Amber Benzoin VanilleWoodsy Notes
And unfortunately I dont smell that much chocolate, which is what I hoped for…I mean it’s called Egeo CHOC. The chocolate smell is so weak in my opinion. Nevertheless it is a very rounded fragrance, quite mature again, and it lasts very long on me always! Won’t buy again though.
