Victoria’s Secret Body Glimmer Swirl Cream - Sweet Tease

Yay another body cream/lotion/milk (I will never know the difference haha). This time I got Victoria’s Secret  Body Glimmer Swirl Cream “Sweet Tease” on ebay for roughly 15 €. Sweet Tease smells like “Vanilla Cream and Sparkling Berries”. It really does!

Unfortunately mine looks a little bit wonky, probably because someone shook it too much during transport. Doesn’t matter I can still see that it’s a swirl! The application is nice, very soft creamy and slightly glittery lotion.

You can see the glitter better in this close-up. It smells just like berries and vanilla, very sweet and creamy! BUT I don’t see any glitter on my skin AND the scent fades awayquickly (unlike my Aquolina Body Milk!). That’s a bit sad because I really like the smell of this. It’s fun but I won’t buy it again probably because it’s too expensive for a body milk that doesn’t last on me.

Aquolina Icing Sugar Body Milk

I have way too much body milk that I won’t be able to use up, but this was a must buy for me, even if with 10 € for 250 ml it’s a bit of a luxury (when it comes to body milk):Aquolina Icing Sugar Body Milk.

This body milk has one of the sweetest bestest scents ever!! It really smells like icing sugar (Puderzucker in German, I like that term better). It is very realistic and only with a hint of the typical body milk smell, but here it fits the sweet and sugary and somehow milky fragrance. It moisturizes my skin while smelling super yummy (maybe too yummy, I’m smelling my skin non stop right now…). And it stays for at least 2 hours like that on my skin, which many body milks can't keep up! I love Aquolina as a brand and will definitely buy more of their products! Next on the list is the perfum Sugar Sparks (I got a code for the value of 10 € with my last purchase ON HERE). And I “need” either shower gel or body milk that smells like Chocolate….

Body Fantasies Body Sprays

I have a weak spot for body sprays and splashes, I already owned a lot but only recently did I discover the best ones. Body Fantasies makes some of the best smelling and long lasting Body Sprays I ever got! I am very happy with my buys and payed about 20 € for both. As they are about 200 ml each it is a really nice price:

The Body Fantasies Cotton Candy Body Spray smells like cotton candy at first but after setting my bf pointed out it smelled more like some kind of tasty grape soda, which I do like. I have never found a really authentic cotton candy smell anyway so I am happy with this at least. It stays with for two hours! Maybe a bit longer if I layer it with cotton candy smelling EDP.

The Sexiest Fantasies Va Va Voom! is more of a dark, heavy and musky smell. It is very strong and has the ultimate lasting power of a whole day. The scent starts of very strong at first but settles for a more sensual and sexy rum & chocolate fragrance. I like it a lot, though it is very unlike me!

Small The Body Shop Haul

I bought three small things in The Body Shop some days ago:

I bought the Banana Shampoo, the Chocomania Body Butter and the Chocomania Lip Butter. All together I paid 20 €! (The Body Butter was 10 € because of discount.)

 - The Body Butter is supposed to hydrate the skin for 48 hours while smelling like delicious chocolate. I don’t like the smell, it’s too musky and bitter. And I can’t say it really hydrates for a whole 48 hours, so I’m not that impressed.

- The Lip Butter smells pretty chocolaty, very nice and sweet but you can’t use too much of it or your lips will have a pale layer of lip butter on them, which is not a good look. Still it does it's job and  is good for dry lips!

- The Banana Shampoo is the best thing I ever tried though. It smells heavenly like fresh bananas and the hydrating effect it has on my hair is just AMAZING. My hair looks so different when I use it, so silky and straight and shiny! Will buy again forever and ever (it was about 6 € though haha). Only downside is that the banana smell doesn’t last long! Still, my personal holy grail when it comes to shampoo.

Review: Essence 24h Hand Protection Balm - Winter Edition

I have to admit, I usually don’t use handcreme at all. I see it as a useless product for me, or at least something I never need (as my hands never experience any kind of extreme dryness). That was before I got this batch of hand cremes from the “Winter Edtion”from essence…

“Gingerbread Chai Latte”

“Apple Cinnamon Punch” and

“Caramel Hot Chocolate”

They are 75 ml/ 2.53 fl.oz each and usually cost around 1€, though not anymore because you can only get them online! I bought all three for about 8 $ together!

The smell of those three is just out of this world. My current favourite and companion in my purse is the caramel hot chocolate one although I love the gingerbread one just as much, it just really really smells like the stuff pictured! It really smells like gingerbread and chai latte, just added with a hint of hand lotion smell (can’t really describe it). It’s the winter edition from 2012 so it’s a bit of a hassle to get these, I had to search on ebay and pay a little bit more than I would in a store. Still so so worth it, I might even try to get the Essence Hand Balm from the LE of 2011! 

Review: Balea Zuckerschnute Deodorant & Showergel

This has been reviewed a lot in germany. It’s the Balea Showergel and Deodorant from the “Zuckerschnute” (something like Sugar-Pout ) series. There’s also a body lotion but I couldn’t get it. The products are all sold for around 1€, so the price is not worth mentioning, but now it is sold out and a bit more expensive on ebay. The series is popular because of the super sweet smell that reminds of lemon bars or lemon cake, something like that! 

I’ve been using the shower gel for a long time already and LOVE it because of the smell! So sweet and slightly lemony, but not like a bath re-freshener but as if used in pastry and cookies! And it doesn’t wear off that fast after showering.

Now about the deodorant, I picked it up recently because of my positive impression from the first product. But I was terribly disappointed. The smell is horrible, it’s extremely artificial and has nothing sweet about it. I have seen positive reviews about it but I can’t see why…

Depending on how long they plan to sell the shower gel I will keep buying it for sure! I’ll have to throw away the deodorant though…

I am currently bidding on ebay to get the Body Lotion....pleaaaase.
